I could not stop crying, then I did the only thing I knew would help the situation, I forwarded your blog to every praying person I knew. Many prayers will be offered up for both mom and baby. After reading this it will be hardpressed not to stop and pray rather then just ignore the pictures we see at gas stations etc. of missing chlldren. I often hear of horrible things that happen worldwide and of right here at home, and it is so easy to just ignore them and go on with my busyness, and what I consider problems. You have communicated truth to my heart. I also printed your blog and have it in a prominent place, least I forget Thank you

You describe the typical South African braai pretty well, however, take heart, not all South African braais happen like that – as the Spicegirl for Braai4Heritage (24 September – we have a public holiday and we also celebrate by braaing) I get around a lot of braais – and there is a lot of vegetarians doing great braais and the girls and guys (especially the younger generation) all braai together! Good luck with your next date night

This is Church as it should be! Also, a great example of “Kingdom Now But Not Yet”. The Kingdom Now bits: the unconditional love, mercy, grace, arms outstretched, vulnerability, openness, honesty etc. The Kingdom not Yet bits: no more sin and therefore no more tears, pain, hurt, brokenness, anger, shame, fear. What a blessing and privilege to witness and be part of!
